What are the responsibilities and job description for the Career Equipment Tech position at Arcosa?
Arcosa Aggregates Texas Region is searching for an Equipment Technician for our Seven Points, TX plant. In this role you will support a positive safety culture by assisting with the activities and engaging with staff within a mining environment that is regulated by MSHA safety standards. As an Equipment Technician, you will perform basic preventive maintenance on the plant or heavy mobile equipment in a mining environment.

What you'll do:
- Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations
- Knowledgeable of basic preventative maintenance on production equipment and plant maintenance.
- Cleans equipment, clears obstacles in work environment
- Some plant maintenance experience including welding
- Be involved with safety committee initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned
What you'll need:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- No experience required
- Prompt, regular and predictable attendance
- The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.
- The ability to work in a varied outdoor environment (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
Salary : $35,800 - $45,400
