About the Role:
Reporting to the VP of People, the Director of People will be an integral part of the Human Resources team. You will make a difference by leading initiatives that support our business in EMEA and all aspects related to Human Resources.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic People Business Partner to all departments in EMEA
- Close partner with the VP of People on overall HR strategies
- Exceptional in building relationship cross functionally at all levels, including C-Suite
- Partners with senior leaders, managers and employees on delivering proactive solutions to meet the strategic needs of the business
- Coaches leaders and employees through roadblocks, crucial conversation and business strategy
- Partner with leaders on strategies to expand internationally, including recruiting, employment law, Human Resources practices
- Works closely within the HRIS to make changes within teams, roles and departments
- Assists with leave management as the employee liaison where needed
- Ensures the Security Services team have the resources, information and support to execute on team objectives
- Is a champion and driver of the culture and cultivates a ‘best place to work’ environment
- Designs and implements programs, policies, process to align and create added efficiencies
- Helps management identify gaps in talent and develop a plan to fill those gaps
- Facilitates and encourages celebrations often for small to large wins through creative ways
- Enhances recognition programs to ensure retention of top talent
- Helps foster cross collaboration, innovation and productivity across entire organization
- Guides leaders through performance management, including employee separations
- Partners with leadership to develop career development tracks and succession planning strategies for high potential and top performance
- Great understanding of Human Resources compliance and employment law
- Focus on diversity, inclusion and belonging throughout each program and process
- Partners with greater Human Resources and Finance teams in regard to recruiting, total rewards and budgets to be a true value added resource to the leadership team
- Uses data and analytics to determine where to focus, when to make changes and how to measure impact
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 5-10 years relevant HR Business Partnering experience
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Adaptable with the ability to live in ambiguity well
- High EQ with heightened self-awareness and executive presence
- Preferred PHR/SPHR certification
