Description
Basic Functions:
Inventory Control Manager will be responsible for ensuring inventory integrity is maintained both physically and systematically. Person shall be informed and responsible for all material moves involving any GAA site. Accountable for working with group managers to ensure inventory accuracy is maintained while also maintaining a service level to production that supports a flowing work process.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions
Customer Service
Attention to detail and able to multi-task.
Provide company documentation to vendors.
Review all invoices at vendor location to ensure accuracy.
Review supplied requisition forms to ensure they are properly completed. Such as
signatures, timestamps, part numbers, descriptions, and quantities.
Answer questions regarding availability of parts.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to foster and maintain relationships both internally and externally with customers.
Data Entry
Assist in generating invoices for customer requisitions in the inventory system.
Assist in entry of vendor receiving documents in the inventory system.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
SAP/WMS experience.
Inventory Management
Assist in performing weekly inventory cycle counts.
Assist in performing counts during Wall to Wall inventories at site.
Use a pallet jack to accurately pick orders to fulfill client demands.
Must efficiently and accurately pick products and stage in the appropriate areas. Stack, package, band, shrink wrap and label products as determined by client requirements.
Quality Control
Use appropriate documentation to ensure all products and orders are received, handled, and stored.
Verify that products and/or orders meet quality standards, including reporting any damages or discrepancies.
Other Requirements
Follow established guidelines for equipment maintenance.
Assist with inventory research projects as requested.
Assist Operations Manager and Supervisor with duties as assigned.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Capable of handling frequent interruptions.
Six months experience working in a warehouse/logistics environment (preferred).
Current or prior MHE certification (preferred).

Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, reach, and climb. Must be able to lift to 50 pounds unassisted. Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours per day and overtime as required.

Working conditions are normal for a logistics/distribution center/warehouse environment including exposure to changing building temperatures. Work involves occasional lifting to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 75 pounds assisted, operating material handling equipment, bending, stooping, reaching, and climbing.
Scope of Authority:
Has the authority to stop production if defective or unsafe parts or condition appear. Has the authority to reject non-conforming material from the supplier. Is empowered to prevent non-conforming material from reaching the customer.

Qualifications
Qualification Requirements:
Always work safely and adhere to all GAA safety policies.
Complete all safety training.

Meet productivity standards with error ratio standard (1 per 1,000).
Manage Inventory Control Clerks.
Willing to work overtime when needed.
Comply with necessary PPE, as required.
Have reliable transportation.
Able to climb rolling ladder to place/remove items.
Able to operate a pallet jack.
Obtain forklift certification by successfully passing training program.
Two years Inventory management/cycle count ownership experience, five years preferred.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Management of inventory across multiple facilities (preferred).
Bachelor’s Degree in Inventory Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management (preferred).
