Job Description

We are looking for a part-time Contracts Specialist to join our team. You will perform various duties which include reviewing contractual agreements, evaluating bids and researching current regulations. You will be working closely with the executive team to expose errors and any inconsistencies in contracts written for and by the company.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Review and update contracts between the company and potential clients.
• Research regulations to ensure contracts are compliant with governing laws and regulations.
• Standardize language and guidelines for contracts.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure contractual compliance.
• Ensure that contract modifications do not create potential risks to the company.

Required Skills

• 5 years of experience drafting and reviewing commercial and federal contracts.
• 2 years of experience researching regulatory guidelines to prevent potential disputes and financial risks.
• Expert knowledge of current and legally binding contractual language and terminology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Paralegal or relevant experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must.
• Strong attention to detail with exceptional proofreading skills.
• Experience in contract negotiations and evaluating bidding principals are a plus.
• Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM) or Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM) certifications are highly desirable.
