Position Summary
The QC & Repairs Lead has oversight of QC & Repairs personnel and output as related to QC & Repairs orders and will be responsible for quality efficiency.
Essential Position Responsibilities
- Able to plan and arrange the workflow of QC & Repairs processes, manpower, and equipment, to meet departmental objectives and daily scheduled production plans
- Perform process analysis for quality and efficiency improvements
- Assess projects/orders and resource requirements; initiate adjustments as needed to ensure timely production completion
- Design and implement new/amended process and improvement plans as needed
- Determine and enforce quality control standards
- Maintain inventory control of fabrics and other inventory flowing through the department
Skills and Qualifications
- Understanding of upholstery process, workflow, and quality standards
- Minimum of 3 years of effective team leadership
- Highly effective in problem solving, and analytical thinking
- Very strong time management, and organizational skills
- Highly effective in oral and written communications skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Bachelor or Vocational Degree
- Relevant QC & Repairs work experience
- Material/inventory and scheduling with capacity planning experience
