WHAT YOU WILL DO

The IT/Intranet Project Associate will assist the Information Technology Manager with staff access to all Ardmore applications and software platforms; configure, develop and deploy technology such as cell phones, laptops and tablets, set up new user accounts, change and reset passwords, as well as assist with inventory control. The IT/Intranet Project Associate will also support the Director of Development with the new current intranet project to build a new intranet, using SharePoint, including providing input on the overall visual design, site navigation, site content, engagement and training of users, and coordination with key stakeholders.

 

You Will Also Do the Following as the IT/Intranet Project Associate:

  • Identify, investigate, and resolve user problems with computer software and hardware; field support calls, chat, email, and/or other communication from users with inquiries regarding software programming, connectivity, printing, and similar concerns
  • Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software.
  • Resolve IT issues for staff via phone, in person, or electronically.
  • Perform minor hardware and software installations, configurations and updates as needed.
  • Provide introductory on-line & classroom training for company applications and systems.
  • Resolve technical issues in a timely manner using available resources within the company.
  • Assist with installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
  • Assist with monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
  • Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
  • Provide technical support across the company (this may be in-person or over the phone).
  • Set up accounts for new users.
  • Assist with identifying new technology.
  • Conduct research to understand intranet user needs.
  • Assist with efforts to create and maintain a sound site navigation (information architecture).
  • Assist with managing the homepage to maintain a proper balance of content and tools.
  • Suggest projects to improve sections of the intranet or deliver new tools through the intranet.
  • Monitor user-generated content for appropriateness.
  • Monitor site analytics and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Backend website maintenance and SEO.
  • Liaise with the IT and Development Departments and software vendors on technical questions of implementation and upgrades.
  • Manage common administrative tasks in the intranet software or liaise with IT staff around those tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • Previous working experience in IT support
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree in Computer Science (Preferred)
  • In depth knowledge of Windows 10; Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive); Zoom
