ARE Telecom is a fast-growing company based in St. Paul, Minnesota. Focusing on the unique needs of our customers, ARE has designed numerous innovative telecommunications infrastructure products, including our Patented AFS foundations (18) which uses local dirt for ballast/gravel/rock and self-raising monopoles ranging from 30' to 200'.

Our business consists of both sales and leasing of our systems. Using local dirt or aggregate for ballast, our systems are perfect for remote locations where concrete and cranes are not practical or possible; but also provide many advantages and often installed instead of a conventional tower/pole with a poured concrete foundation. All ARE systems are certified as permanent structures to TIA/222/G-H, but assemble and can be decom'd quickly, making them the best-in-market solution for temporary water tower construction, events, natural disasters, etc - where COW's are insufficient. ARE also has a full line of conventional and direct embedment monopoles if digging is preferred, antenna mounts and other accessories to provide a complete turn-key solution for all steel components.

A small company of less than 20 people, ARE is seeking a high-energy, hard-working and highly organized Construction Manager to help QC our shipments, ensure all components are included in shipments, travel to customer installation locations throughout North America and globally, to train customer or ARE vendor crews and ensure proper installation.

This CM position requires a high level of experience in telecom and/or broadband, with detailed knowledge of iron working techniques, equipment operation, rigging and general construction. Qualified candidates will also have a working knowledge of Microsoft products and ability work with ARE staff and customers in a positive and constructive manor.

Full Job Description

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee installations of our Patented Steel Ballasted Foundation Systems and Self-Raising Poles
• Become proficient on ARE's products, installation process, methods to increase efficiency and operation/maintenance of our raising systems and other products
• Work with ARE crew, or our vendor/customer crews to assist and facilitate installation.
• QC and inventory systems at ARE's warehouse as needed
• Warehouse pre-installation assembly with ARE crew before shipping to install site
• During installations, inspect and complete ARE's installation documents to verify all necessary steps have been completed
• Trouble-shoot and problem solve
• Improve ARE's manuals and installation SOP's if possible
• Mature, professional demeanor. Able to work constructively and positively with ARE employees, customers and vendors.
• Reporting on installations to communicate to ARE staff overview of installations and customer satisfaction
• Work toward the betterment of ARE

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications:

• 5 years Telecom or Broadband construction experience, or Iron Worker with background in construction of steel structures
• Working knowledge of Microsoft products - Outlook, MS Teams, Excel, Word
• Ability to travel to customer location throughout North America and internationally to assist with ARE customer installations

Skills:

• Proficiency with tools and methods of iron working
• Certified and proficient operating - skid-steer, 12k tele-handler
• High proficiency with Rigging
• Loading and Off-loading of containers and flatbed trucks
• Dedicated and knowledgeable of job site safety, regulations and methods to ensure a safe work site
• Able to work with and communicate and work with customers and ARE staff in a productive and positive way
• Ability to understand and follow ARE's standard operating procedures, improving as possible

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $40-$50 per hour

Additional Compensation:
