We are searching for a full-time Director to lead all clinical aspects of ASAC’s youth treatment and recovery programs by directing, supervising and monitoring the work of a team of dedicated staff.
The Director of Youth Services will:
•Organize the overall approach to the delivery of treatment services and implementation of the programs, review data regularly to determine effectiveness of current strategies, and ensure that component staff have been adequately trained in ASAC service models and in the use of any evidence-based programs being delivered.
•Monitor expenses of component, project, and grant budgets as well as compliance with projects, licensure, accreditation and grant requirements.
•Provide direct supervision, training and guidance to direct supervisees. Oversee interns, including selection, training, assignment to projects as well as supervisor, and required agency and school paperwork.
•Develop and maintain positive work relationships with media, referral sources, community schools, colleges, civic organizations, youth serving organizations, churches, public health departments, funders, and other businesses.
•Participate in substance abuse community coalitions and committees, both locally and state-wide.
•Write and submit quarterly/year-end reports, ensuring successful completion of goals and objectives.
•Ensure component activities, successes and needs are promoted within the agency and to the community through staff email, agency website and other agency communications.
Requirements
Qualified candidates will have a master’s degree in a human service, social work, psychology or a related field with a minimum of three years of supervisory experience, and knowledge of current theories, techniques and practices of effective substance use and mental health treatment strategies, LISW, LMHC, LMSW, tLMHC preferred. This position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to pass an extensive background check. As a condition of employment, new hires will be required to provide proof of their COVID-19 vaccination or have an approved exemption.
