Job Overview
We are hiring in several teaching areas. Mornings we have content area learning happening in Math, Science, Social Studies, and Language Arts. Afternoons we have electives and interest/strength-based student independent learning time. We are able to work with the right candidate on a flexible schedule that can be four or five days a week, just mornings, just afternoons, or full-day depending on candidate preference and availability.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement engaging lesson plans for small groups of students
- Provide a safe and nurturing learning environment for twice-exceptional learners
- Lead with empathy and understanding
- Communicate regularly with parents and other staff
- Incorporate innovative teaching methods to enhance learning experiences
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with students, preferably in school or educational setting
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Familiarity with gifted and talented, special education, and unique learners is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.24 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 36 per week
