Arganteal is seeking an experienced DevOps engineer particularly skilled with cloud tools and
Dockerization. This person will be a member of the Product and Engineering team directly responsible for meeting the needs of our customers through efficient and functional software development. Candidates must have deep and broad technical skills to assist building our next generation software and be able to architect solutions and follow best practices in the development and support of scalable products.
Required Qualifications:
- 7 years of overall engineering and operations experience.
- 4 years with cloud tools (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and Docker or Kubernetes
- 3 years of DevOps Engineering experience with excellent knowledge of deployment pipelines.
- AWS certifications preferred
Required Knowledge:
- Proven understanding of proper security controls including server hardening, user permissions, and security best practices.
- Experience with AWS and familiarity with their offerings including ECS, EKS, Fargate, Lambda, RDS, Route53, CloudFormation, SQS, etc.
- Strong understanding of network fundamentals (networking & load balancing solutions)
- Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Serverless, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK
- Experience building and maintaining scripting automations such as Bash, Ruby, Python, etc.
Job Duties:
- Must be able to operate in an agile, entrepreneurial start-up environment
- Establish, design, and implement resilient solutions for build, deployment, and configuration management.
- Collaborate across agile development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, automation, containerization, and cloud native services for deployment.
- Measurement, optimization, and tuning of system performance
- Work collaboratively with developers to automate and accelerate the testing, release, and deployment of applications into runtime quickly and reliably.
- Participate in root cause analysis, postmortems, and retrospectives to identify high leverage prevention and improvement opportunities
- Modernize legacy infrastructure to meet standard best practice
