What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Worker- - (2nd Shift $17.85/hour) position at Argus Technical Services?
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP’s, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained. Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety.
2. Adhere to all safety polices and procedures
3. Follow all company policies and procedures.
4. Inspect product for defects, foreign objects, etc.
5. Keep work area clean.
6. Calculate cheese amounts needed for production schedule.
7. Record proper lot numbers of cheese used in production.
8. Effectively remove bulk cheese packaging for production.
9. Operate proper equipment (hoists, "big joe", etc.) to load product on to cutter.
10. Remove trim barrels and weigh trim.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
