What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator | Will Train!!! position at Argus Technical Services?
- 2nd Shift: 2:00pm-10:00pm, M-F, 15% shift premium
- 3rd Shift: 10:00pm-6:00am, Sun-Thurs, 25% shift premium
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate machines to produce a variety of small to large parts while minimizing scrap.
- Review drawings, blueprints, or samples to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Inspect parts using precision measuring tools (caliper, micrometer, etc.).
- Document completed labor, quality checks, and report errors as needed.
- Learn machine set-up tasks via training and set-up sheets.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years of machining experience highly preferred, but we will train the right person!
- Strong math and analytical skills
- Must be able to lift 50lbs unassisted
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
