Sales Operations Manager
The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for the processes, tools, and technologies that support the Sales team of the company. These tools are often collectively referred to as Customer Relationship Management (CRM). As the Operations Manager, your duties will range from providing guidance about market trends, to developing resources and tracking long term sales data for individual sites.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the sales team using RMI with process improvement, measurement, tracking and analytics relevant to their functional areas
- Partner with Sales department to refine lead qualification process, analyze and report on campaign performance with reporting and dashboards
- Enhance sales productivity by enabling the team to work smarter by simplifying processes
- Create monthly content for executive presentations and board reporting
- Track and analyze key metrics including pipeline growth, win/loss rates, and quota attainment
- Own the end-to-end process of tracking the sales funnel and operational metrics and delivering regular insights to the business; define and deliver techniques to improve the funnel performance for sales management.
- Oversee on-boarding and training new hires
- Refine customer segmentation, assist with territory management, and create a plan to enhance renewal and upsell processes
- Maintain regular check-ins with Sales Managers/Enterprise Sales Representatives and others who contribute to opportunity development to determine how sales opportunities are tracking against plan and identify any problems for internal review and problem solving
- Maintain procurement and contract records
- Support Transportation needs for maintenance, rentals & other supportive needs
- Track maintenance, FHWA’s, cost control & other fleet maintenance considerations for the rental fleet
- Admin paperwork
- Create & manage rental agreements
- Request & ensure all COI’s are correct & current
- File all rental agreements, new trailer paperwork, pickup/drop off slips
- Facilitate daily lot checks, including verification utilizing the Fixed Asset Report
- Schedule and facilitate stacking/unstacking of flatbeds
- Coordinate shipping of equipment
- Oversee the equipment advertising process
- Record 360 (check ins and outs for rental)
- Coordinate with the SM to get rental equipment through the shop as needed (rental check in’s, charge back damage repair, equipment that needs modifications before going on rent, etc.)
Job Skills Requirements
- Able to be the subject matter expert with proficiency creating reports, optimizing processes, training new hires, and managing dashboards
- Ability to understand high-level sales strategies, translate them into system and process requirements, and ensure local execution and business impact.
- Advanced Excel skills with a strong understanding of RMI, other CRM applications and email marketing strategies.
- High level of organization and time management skills
- Excellent written communications and presentation skills
- Excellent computer skills (good knowledge of Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Must have high level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

Other Qualifications
Requires the ability to operate various office equipment to include a computer, voice mail, copier, fax, and calculator. Requires the ability to operate various software such as word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
Experience Requirements
· Training on equipment will be provided by the company as well as equipment manufacturers, so no prior equipment knowledge is necessary, though knowledge of class 8 trucks and trailers would be considered a plus.
· Updating websites, selling/advertising through social media & other digital platforms
· Proven Sales Skills, with documented success
· Minimum two years successful track record in equipment sales
· Knowledge and ability to create sales contracts and process title and financial information
· Ability to negotiate, process and sign contracts
· Dealership familiarity considered a plus

The employee occasionally performs work-related travel.

Salary: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
