The position works to define a cohesive social strategy along with pertinent execution plans for the Arhaus social ecosystem that aligns with high-level brand strategy, retail marketing strategy, and the direction for all other owned platforms within Arhaus’ digital footprint (website, email, etc). The candidate has a pulse on digital trends and remains consistently updated with the rapidly changing social media and digital marketing landscape across all platforms where Arhaus has a presence. In this role, you will lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of Arhaus’s social strategy in order to drive new customer acquisition, retention, traffic, and sales. Essential to the position is the ability to define content strategy, grow and engage audiences, and analyze performance to inform plans, all while maintaining brand integrity and consistency. The ideal candidate for this role has a love for strategic planning and a passion for leveraging social & creator/influencer marketing to strategically build brands, capture attention, and drive engagement and revenue.
This position is located on-site at our Corporate Headquarters in Boston Heights, OH.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated social media strategies inclusive of leading the development of ownable best-in-class paid & organic social media content that delivers on key brand objectives, and oversight of program execution from conception to execution in partnership with eCommerce, Brand, Creative, and Cross Functional teams
- Own the day-to-day management of social media as a key stakeholder for social media process, including project management, meetings, reporting, and recaps
- Lead ideation relative to social media strategies and content executions, pushing Arhaus to be a leader in the rapidly evolving social media space
- Support marketing initiatives by developing social media plans for key moments including brand campaigns, key product launches, promotional support and collaborations while supporting business critical KPIs
- Monitor the landscape and advocate for social and digital trends internally, influencing the brand and business strategies
- Set KPIs and provide ad-hoc, bi-weekly, monthly and yearly analysis on qualitative and quantitative performance; Manage weekly tracking and performance reporting
- Collaborate with Associate Director of Digital Marketing to manage budget allocation, inclusive of owned boosting and paid campaigns
- Point of contact for reps for social platforms, own relationship and stay on top of best practices and new features
- Partner with key stakeholders in marketing strategy, creative, influencer/creator, experiential, PR teams to plan for content needs
- Partner in creative process to ensure content is break-through, delivers on brand objectives, meets brand standards, and garners results
- Partner closely Analytics teams to gather insights and inform strategic social and content opportunities
- Leverage native social analytics and third-party toolsets to educate and advise on strategy and content development
- Understanding how to leverage social media as a tool to identify target audiences, inspire conversion, drive sales, ignite quality community growth
- Lead, develop, and motivate a team of Social Media & Paid Digital Marketing Specialists
Required Experience:
- Minimum 5-7 years of work experience in social media strategy and/or related digital marketing experience
- Exceptional understanding of the social media digital landscape, best practices, and social analytics tools and metrics
- Culture vulture – constantly following social media trends and has a clear POV on how brands can win in those moments
- Self-starter – A go-getter who can dive in, be an owner, and influence cross-functional partners
- Motivated by the social media industry, interest in staying on top of platform developments and new features
- Attention to detail and strong project management and organizational skills
- A creative, “out-of-the-box” thinker
- Strong leadership skills, entrepreneurial attitude, and can-do mentality

Preferred Experience:
- Experience with retail and/or eCommerce D2C brands
- Content creation is a plus
- Understanding of retail calendar and seasonal process
- Experience with luxury brands is a plus
