AriensCo has an opportunity for a Business Analyst at their Brillion, WI headquarters. The Business Analyst is responsible for learning/understanding cross-functional business processes and determining how to leverage technology to optimize them. The Business Analyst is adept at matching business requirements to system functionality and addressing gaps through people, process and/or the use of technology.
The Day To Day...
Understand how the business works including, cross-functional processes, varying locations and how the business systems integrate to support.
Develop a thorough understanding of Manufacturing, New Product Development, Distribution/Inventory Management and/or Supply Chain Management.
Act as a liaison between the business and development staff (applications, web, BI, etc.) to ensure requirements are complete, consist, comprehensive, and feasible.
Collaborate with project sponsors to determine vision and project scope.
Clearly identify project stakeholders and conduct interviews to gather user requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods.
Define scope, elicit business requirements and assess capability gaps, to define potential solutions to fill the gaps
Complete system configuration to support the requirements
Guide the business in the creation of a test plan for new solutions.
Perform validation tests of desired functionality.
Provide testing support of our business system software and websites. This would include testing specific functionality, testing of new releases of software, and general testing in the context of conference room pilots related to major implementations.
Update standard work to reflect new and improved process changes implemented.
Support the day-to-day activities of the business by troubleshooting business system issues escalated beyond the departmental subject matter experts.
The Requirements...
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Business Administration.
1-3 year's direct experience or applicable combination of education/experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Experience leveraging CRM software preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
