About the Opportunity
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and time management skills. This person should have experience in tracking and maintaining various projects and volume movement while catching and reporting any issues/problems that may arise. Lastly, the candidate will work closely with the Water Resources Engineer to ensure site schematics, setup, and job completion run according to plan.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct ongoing analysis and coordination of project setups and volumes for a variety of customers and areas
- Responsible for tracking and reviewing daily volume movement:
- Review actuals vs. forecasted volumes
- Track storage volumes
- Track brackish water well volumes
- Track volatile, interruptible produced water sources
- Track third-party suppliers and vendors
- Coordinates with ops personnel to ensure that equipment is setup appropriately to meet scheduled rates and matches what was communicated by the Water Resources Engineer
- Coordinates with operations personnel to ensure equipment is setup timely and appropriately, confirming scheduled rates are met and equipment setup is the same as what was communicated by the Water Resources Engineer
- Coordinate with Water Resources Engineer for site setup and schematic planning
- Coordinates with ops personnel and I&E to ensure that telemetry is in place before job is completed and the entire site setup matches the schematic plans communicated by Water Resources Engineer
- Gathers back-up information for metering and supplies at job’s and month’s end
- Coordinates with I&E team if there are meter inaccuracies during daily volume review; also coordinates with Water Resources Engineer to make corresponding changes in the water balances
- Discusses volume adjustments with Water Resources Engineer so that these adjustments are reflected in the schedule
- Ability to effectively organize and complete multiple tasks in a schedule-sensitive environment
- Other duties as assigned
Experience:
- Oil and gas experience preferred
- Oil and gas water management preferred
- Frack water management
- Experience with ARC and GIS preferred
Skills/Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
