Manager, Global Inventory

Arista Networks is a fast growing, multi-award winning company which has pioneered and
delivered software-driven cloud networking solutions for large data centre storage and
computing environments.

Manager, Global Inventory is a leadership position leading a team of inventory analyst/managers. He/she collaborates cross functionally with Product Management, Finance, NPI, Planning, Direct Fulfillment, Global Supplier Management, CM Supply Management and CM Partners to ensure inventory is minimized while maximizing revenue & customer satisfaction. You will have the opportunity to innovate, develop and implement methods of global inventory management.

He/she is responsible for the following:

• Accountability for global inventory
• Develop and drive strategic plans to minimize inventory liability while maximize revenue and customer satisfaction. This includes, but are not limited to, hubbing, VMI etc.
• Partner with Demand & Supply Planning to drive appropriate build plans.
• Accountability for minimizing worldwide Excess and Obsolete (E&O)
• Oversee weekly cycle counts and quarterly physical inventories. Owns inventory accuracy.
• Develop and execute material buffer strategy.
• Participate in new program supply chain design. Ensure new designs meet inventory goals while not adversely impacting freight/PPV or other margin factors.
• Support business critical events such as quarter ends. This may occasionally require work during weekends and holidays.

• Minimum achievement of Bachelor’s degree, preferably in supply chain, business, economics, finance or a related field.
• 8 years of progressive supply chain operations experience, preferably with program management experience in a high-tech operations environment. Ideally candidates hold min 5 years of OEM experience.
• Ability to work in a dynamic & ambiguous fast-paced environment.
• Top notch data management skill. Excellent in compiling and analyzing large data in excel.
• Holds experience of managing inventory with both forward looking & historical demand.
• Understand various inventory planning models such as lean, JIT, 3rd party distribution.
• Excellent communicator, executive level presenter.
• Able to roll up his or her sleeves and deliver in depth work.
• Must be able to work frequently outside of standard North America business hours.
• Travel ~10% a year
