We are currently seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team.
The Digital Marketing Specialist is a highly motivated self-starter who has previously demonstrated the ability to successfully execute digital marketing campaigns with a focus on email. This role will create and collaborate on all digital marketing projects, including e-newsletters, webinars, podcasts, video and social. The Digital Marketing Specialist will use their deep working knowledge of email best practices to execute and own email automation programs and build out targeted nurture and social campaigns that align with the goals set forth by marketing leadership. This role will use HTML knowledge to enhance email design, build out any web pages part of digital marketing campaigns. This individual will also report on success, key findings and recommendations across email, web and social on a monthly and quarterly basis.
What You Will Do:
- Primary owner of email marketing creating programmatic and trigger-based email marketing programs based on known client behaviors and content preferences.
- Work with members of the marketing team to help design and implement client journeys, experiences, and automations with a focus on email and web to achieve goals set by marketing leadership.
- Build out all web pages needed for all digital marketing campaigns.
- Strategize and execute social media campaigns paired with email campaigns.
- Measure and analyze key performance indicators ensuring digital campaigns are impactful, delivered on-time, accurately tracked, and continually improved upon.
- Keep apprised of industry trends impacting digital marketing and share best practices with internal teams.
- Work with marketing strategy team and other parties to integrate email marketing campaign results with CRM data to generate sales leads.
- Attend webinars and conferences for continual learning and to ensure the firm stays within alignment of digital marketing best-practices in the financial services industry.
What You Will Need:
- 3-5 years of work experience in digital marketing (financial services industry of similar preferred).
- Must have experience working with Marketo (preferred), HubSpot or Pardot – having deep, practical/tactical expertise in email marketing.
- Strong technical skills and demonstrated ability to successfully build and execute digital campaigns to achieve target goals.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, WordPress, Salesforce, and Google Analytics (GA4), Sprout Social or similar.
- Strong capability with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud tools.
- Detail oriented, strong organizational skills, a team player, and have the intellectual curiosity and aptitude to learn new technology and build digital campaigns.
- Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box and look for new innovative solutions.
- Desire to learn and develop financial services industry knowledge ultimately becoming an expert in digital marketing for this industry.
- Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or equivalent experience.
- Marketo Certification required or the ability to obtain a Marketo Certification upon hire.
- Strong expertise working with email automation systems.
- Experience working with a CRM platform in a marketing capacity, Salesforce preferred.

Compensation Range: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00, plus discretionary bonus.
This is a hybrid role, preference is to be located within commuting distance of our Newport Beach, CA or Los Angeles, CA office.
