The position of Creative Technologies Specialist will support innovative uses of creative technologies, such as Adobe Creative Cloud, to support the development and usage of digital portfolios and other graphic and multimedia projects. Duties include close collaboration with ASU faculty and students to educate and support the use of creative digital learning tools including the development of training materials and events to promote the implementation of creative learning technologies. Successful candidates will have demonstrative knowledge of graphic design, multimedia design, technology trends and pedagogical practices in education, experience providing operational excellence, and a passion for customer service.

Essential Duties
- Develop and deliver face-to-face and online training and workshop offerings, including self-help documents, online tutorials, and other multimedia materials, to assist with the use of creative technology platforms such as digital portfolios and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Utilize web page authoring, desktop publishing and presentation software to develop custom content.
- Project manage and run logistical support for the development of learning experience initiatives.
- Research and evaluate emerging digital platform technologies, pedagogies, and practices and provide ongoing ideas, guidance, and recommendations to the University community.
- Facilitate conversational sessions with faculty around platform tools, pedagogy approaches, and roadmap strategies.
- Design, develop and implement evaluation procedures to assess the effectiveness of using technologies in teaching/learning experiences to bridge physical and digital learning spaces.
- Take responsibility for fostering culture, advancing our values, and championing engagement in all its forms - collaborating across our teams as well as participating in UTO/ASU events and programs.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field AND Three (3) years of providing learning/instructional design and/or technology development services. Or, any equivalent combination of experience or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

- Ability to work in-person, on-campus
- Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud to create graphics and multimedia content
- Experience with digital portfolio platforms
- Experience with web page authoring, Drupal, HTML, etc.
- Knowledge of visual and graphic design best practices including creative design, usability and user interface design
- Knowledge of current and future trends in learning technologies
- Understanding of instructional design principles, methods, and techniques for adult learning
- Ability to explain technical concepts in non-technical terms to diverse stakeholder groups: faculty, students, staff, and administrators
- Ability to accomplish tasks and projects with multiple and overlapping deadlines
- Experience in facilitating presentations to audiences of differing sizes
- Problem-solving experience with the ability to apply strong critical and logical analysis to scenarios in the context of educational technology use
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
- Evidence of effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to model empathy, compassion and emotional intelligence
