What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant position at ARK Rods?
The ideal candidate for this position is someone who has a fine attention to detail and enjoys a fast paced work environment. Candidate should be open to a flexible schedule if needed but work schedule will be 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday-Friday.
Job duties-
- Review Orders
- Input New Order
- Print Labels
- Make New & Edit Spreadsheets
- Cleaning & Organizing
- PO Receiving and stocking if needed
- Inventory counting/ sorting
- Must be able to use a computer system, print packing labels.
- Answer Phones (Customer Calls)
- Other misc tasks as requested by management.
Requirements-
- Must be 18 yrs or older
- Safely lift packages/ products up to 50 lbs without assistance.
- Must be able to use PC computers efficiently.
- Must be able to use small tools if needed.
- Have reliable means of transportation and report to work on time.
- Schedule is typically Monday - Friday. Candidate should be open to extended hours if needed.
- Customer Service Skills
Ideal Qualifications:
- 2 years of warehouse and small parcel shipping experience (Fed Ex, UPS, USPS)
- Record of consistent attendance, productivity and performance
- Strong attention to detail; motivated self-starter
- FFishing Industry Knowledge a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
