JOB TITLE: Health Insurance Payment Poster
JOB SUMMARY: Posting insurance payments from health insurance companies and patient payments and making daily deposits. Providing customer service to patients and fellow team members.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Posting payments from health insurance companies and patients towards accounts.
- Sending billing letters to patients.
- Counting drawers down and making deposits daily.
- Printing patient statements weekly.
- Working denials.
- Taking patient inquiries regarding billing.
- Working A/R reports.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Job Requirements: Minimum of 1 year in healthcare related field, minimum of 6-12 months of money handling and working in EMR. Experience in Microsoft Excel. Strong organizational skills. Ability to be discreet with any sensitive information you are made aware of. Must be a team player and willing to help others.
Preferred Experience: Experience with health insurance payments, Microsoft Word, skills with printer/fax/scanner/adding machine.
Physical Requirements: Lift up to 10 lbs., must be able to bend and stoop, sit, and use a computer for up to eight hours daily.
