Arkcess Care LLC, a healthcare staffing agency is hiring In home Caregivers to provide care to patients in their home. This position is hands on, and the Caregiver provides the consumer with help meeting all non-medical needs including but not limited to; supervisory, personal, and directed level of care. Requirements:
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Valid California Driver’s License
- Vehicle with auto insurance
- Provide proof of legally eligible to work in the U.S.
- Pass a background check
- Provide yearly TB Clearance
- Obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR certification
- Minimum of one year caregiving experience (may be supplemented with personal experience)
- Must have strong work ethics with goal driven focus
- Ability to navigate the use of a cell phone and applications
- Enjoy working in a one-on one setting
- Able to provide services in the consumer’s residence(s)
LVN JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Read consumer care plans to assure understanding of the consumer’s needs
- Plan your drive to consumer homes to assure on time arrival
- Manage your shift time to assure clocking out on time
- Communicate with Consumer Care Coordinators for any questions and/or concerns regarding assigned consumers
- Build and maintain rapport with consumers and their circle of supports
- Provide services in a compassionate and caring demeanor
- Exercise professional boundaries with consumers and their circle of supports
- Monitor and report any changes in consumers’ conditions
- Maintain a healthy and comfortable environment in the consumer’s home for the consumer and yourself
- Complete paid training on a yearly basis (virtual/ in person)
- Implement mandating reporting
- Communicate changes in your availably in a timely manner to lessen the impact on consumer services
- Maintain consumer confidentiality
- Implement critical thinking to work effectively in a work environment with potential high levels of interruptions
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
