SITUATION IN ORGANIZATION
Report to the Director of Business Process Optimization.
JOB DIMENSIONS
Process owner for the AMAS regions supporting manufacturing and quality domains, covering the following processes: production, quality, stock management. This position serves as the subject matter expert in the P&C domain, working closely with the manufacturing sites and with the key users of the BU's through key user network. This role includes the oversight and associated governance within the plants for production, inventory and quality process.
KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the design and the consolidation of the core model processes (40%)

Design the SAP manufacturing core model specific to the Americas region

Promote and implement the manufacturing and quality core model throughout the organization covering three, unique, SAP systems and integrated tools (i.e .LIMS).
- Analyze the recurrent problems raised involving manufacturing and quality domains, tackle the root causes and prepare when necessary the documentation for validation in Arbitration Committee

Propose and implement optimization of the manufacturing and quality processes.

Coordinate the training material and organization, and the user’s documentation improvement

Animate the network of regional manufacturing Key Users, display continuous improvement and best practices.
Drive the maturity and the performance enhancements for his domain (25%)

Manage the maturity assessments sessions, drive then validate with the plant managers the improvement action plans associated

Monitor regularly with the plant Key Users and managers the progress of the improvement actions

Keep aware of benchmarking feedback, possible disrupting tools or technologies, digital initiatives
Implement KPI’s and performance measurement (25%)

Define and display to the plant managers and the BU’s a set of performance and process KPI’s

Drive the associated management / rituals by the plants

Support the implementation of appropriated reports and dashboards to the plant managers
Support business growth (10%)

Bringing the manufacturing expertise in the different projects (i.e. SAP Roadmap)
CONTEXT AND ENVIRONEMENT

25% Travel is required, including regional and global travel as required, subject to level of project work.

Supports the site HES policy and complies with all regulatory and internal requirements

Participates in HES activities provided by site management and Arkema Inc. (e.g., Behavioral Base Safety, SafeStart, etc.)

Supports and promotes the reporting of all health, safety, environmental, near-miss, accident or injury incidents
REQUIRED EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS / WORK EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Business, or Supply Chain related field, required, MBA a plus but not required

10 years of Supply Chain and Business related experience, including:
-
Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean, etc,)

Knowledge of various project management methodologies (waterfall, Agile, etc.) \
-
Understanding of S&OP, Accounting, Finance, Purchasing, and Manufacturing processes.

APICS Certification preferred
-
Body of knowledge to encompass all aspects of manufacturing within the SAP environment including forecasting, material master setup, material data development and management, production orders and reporting, production planning and scheduling, inventory management and reporting and order shipment. It also includes a strong understanding of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and Quality Management.
