Job Posting for Commercial Lines Assistant Underwriter at Arlington/Roe & Co Inc
Arlington/Roe & Co. Inc., is a family owned property/casualty Insurance Wholesaler and Managing General Agency, established in 1964. We are currently seeking a Commercial Lines Assistant Underwriter. This position has the ability to work remotely.
Education:
High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
Qualifications:
- 3 plus years of Commercial Lines experience with exposure to underwriting
- E&S wholesale experience is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 products to include but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong multi-tasking and able to prioritize
- Strong organizations skills and is flexible in a fast-paced environment
Essential Functions:
- Underwriting renewal business
- Processing endorsements, cancellations, invoices and audits
- Supporting the underwriter
- Corresponding daily by phone and email with our agencies and carriers
- Documenting files
