JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Responsibilities
1. Work in industrial plant environments.
2. Assemble gas trains according to combustion schematics.
3. Pipe fit combustion air and gas on burner systems according to piping drawings.
4. Pipe fit hydraulic and pneumatic systems according to fluid power drawings.
5. Layout and assemble electrical control panels according to electrical drawings.
6. Wire electrical control panels according to electrical schematics.
7. Wire components according to electrical schematics.
8. Run conduit and pull wires according to electrical drawings.
9. Assist Armil Journeyman Combustion Technicians with performing preventative maintenance on industrial furnaces and cremation furnaces.
10. Assist Armil Journeyman Combustion Technicians in furnace retrofit projects.
11. Organize all electrical and combustion components.
12. Assist in keeping track of all electrical and combustion inventory.
- Install and troubleshoot burners.
- Knowledge of adjusting air and gas settings using the proper manometers.

PREREQUISITES FOR POSITION
- High school diploma and 5 years of relevant experience
- Understanding of industrial combustion and thermal control systems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of NFPA 86 (Standard for Ovens and Furnaces)
- Knowledge of NFPA 70E (Electrical Safety in the Work Place)
- Knowledge of basic computer functions
- Out of town travel (as required)
- Valid driver’s license
COMPENSATION

Pay: $41,600.00 - $70,720.00 per year
