Summary

As a Senior Financial Auditor functioning on a hybrid basis at our headquarters in Lancaster, PA you will be responsible for utilizing the latest fieldwork methods and analytic tools to deliver world-class assurance and advisory capabilities to reduce risk throughout the enterprise and protect organizational value.

As part of our next-generation IA journey, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute towards the development of advanced data analytics tools capable of delivering high-impact reporting and dynamic risk assessments. Your success as a Senior Financial Auditor will depend on your ability to leverage your business acumen, audit experience, and analytical and problem-solving skills.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Simplifying audit complexity and driving improvements in AWI's control processes
  • Leading audit engagements and providing guidance andcoaching to your peers and colleagues
  • Performing financial audits of business and manufacturing locations across the U.S. and Canada
  • Evaluating and assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, including SOX compliance
  • Nurturing relationships and engaging key stakeholders with high-impact, value-added audit reporting


  • Collaborating with external auditors and co-sourced partners toward collective goals
  • Contributing to Audit Committee communications
  • Staying fresh with respect to the latest developments within audit and accounting
  • Coordinating pre- and post-implementation reviews of new IT applications
  • Advising on risks and controls during organizational changes and process re-engineering
  • Assessing risks and controls for new business acquisitions
  • Collaborating with colleagues to transform our analytic and continuous monitoring capabilities
  • Driving continuous improvement of Internal Audit capabilities and service offerings

  • Working knowledge of internal control and professional internal audit standards
  • Proficient analytical, presentation, and writing skills
  • Ability to prioritize activities and maintain an agile mindset to dynamically shift priorities as needed


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance,business administration,or a related discipline
  • 3 or more years of Internal Auditing, public accounting experience, or other relevant professional experience
  • Manufacturing industry expertise
  • Willingness to travel up to 5 weeks per year


What Makes You Stand Out

  • CPA, CIA, or related finance and accounting certifications (or progress toward a professional certification)
  • Experience utilizing SAP ECC or S/4 HANA
  • Familiarity with data and with utilizing visual analytic tools such as Alteryx, KNIME, ACL, Tableau, and/or PowerBI
  • Proficiency within Audit Board or similar audit/SOX management application
