Position Summary
Armstrong is seeking an entry level Drafter to assist in drawing, mapping, and network documentation for the CATV and Telephone companies and provide drafting support for the remainder of the Armstrong Group of Companies.

Armstrong is seeking an entry level Drafter to assist in drawing, mapping, and network documentation for the CATV and Telephone companies and provide drafting support for the remainder of the Armstrong Group of Companies.

- Utilize AutoCAD and ESRI software applications to create, revise and print drawings and documents.
- Create road layouts and maps.
- Add pole lines and underground utility information from ESRI Collector App, fieldwork, utility maps or
- surveyor maps.
- Make network revisions.
- Maintain print files and documentation files on database.
- Make and issue revised prints.
- Prepare and organize prints needed for design and construction.
- Organize projects for review.
- Manage time to meet assigned goals.
- Learn and implement advancing technologies.
- Minimum AAS Degree in a drafting discipline.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, ESRI and Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to utilize and manipulate on-line map services. (i.e. Google Maps, Google Earth, etc.)
- Ability to work under deadlines.
- Must be able to multi-task.
- Must be able to communicate and collaborate in a team environment.
- Must possess a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to learn and advance with changing technologies
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail is critical.
