Job Description
Role: Sr. Lead Automation Engineer
Location: Newjersey (Locals)
Client: IFF Customer
Test Planning: Collaborating with project stakeholders to understand the software requirements, develop test plans, and define test strategies using Tricentis tools.
- Test Design and Development: Creating test cases, test scripts, and test data based on software requirements and functional specifications. Utilizing Tricentis tools like Tosca or Tricentis TOSCA to develop and maintain automated test suites.
- Test Execution: Executing tests manually or using Tricentis tools to automate the test execution process. Identifying and reporting defects or issues found during testing.
- Test Analysis and Reporting: Analyzing test results and providing detailed reports to stakeholders. Collaborating with developers and business analysts to resolve issues and improve software quality.
Test Environment Management: Setting up and configuring test environments, including the installation and configuration of Tricentis tools.
- Test Process Improvement: Identifying areas for process improvement and recommending enhancements to optimize testing efforts. Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in software testing and automation.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure effective communication and alignment throughout the testing process.
- Required skills and qualifications for a Tricentis tester may include:
- Strong knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience in using Tricentis tools such as Tricentis Tosca or Tricentis TOSCA for test automation.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or JavaScript for test scripting.
- Familiarity with Agile or DevOps methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
