Position: Unpaid Intern

• Are local to the Los Angeles metroplex and able to work on site in the Pasadena area on their own power.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and propose projects that align with your interests and goals.
• Collaborate with mentors and peers to develop and execute your projects.
• Participate in regular meetings and workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge.
• Contribute to a positive and innovative community culture.
• Be intellectually flexible and capable of switching between projects.
• Stretch your abilities, work long and hard hours, and invest fully in yourself and in others investing in you.
• Work on a diverse set of projects, including programming, designing flyers for non-profits, supervising 3D printers, using power tools, soldering circuit boards, video production and streaming for education and social engagement, exploring remote places for minerals, unseating corrupt politicians, and helping old ladies cross the street.
• Be ready to take on ad-hoc paid jobs as they may arise from the efforts of peers and mentors, and develop these opportunities into stronger prospects for yourself and others.
