Who we need
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, we are looking for an Inventory Coordinator to be a part of our team. You will be in charge of organizing inventory records related to ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, and equipment. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your inventory management experience within a supportive team environment.
What our new Inventory Coordinator will do:
- Collect and organize data from various sources. You will compile data from orders, invoices, requisitions and accounting reports and enter the information into our system, maintaining inventory, purchasing, shipping and other records as required. You will also compile stock information such as item characteristics, consumption rates and market conditions to determine the supply and the need for stock replenishment.
- Move and track inventory. You will move stock in and out of the warehouse, frequently updating records to reflect the status of inbound and outbound supplied items. You will also monitor warehouse requests and assignments to order pickers and material handlers.
- Monitor process efficiency. You will track our inventory management processes, supporting improvement through investigating inventory errors, cycle counts and addressing internal deficiencies.
The skills you bring:
- The education and experience. You have a college or technical school diploma or certificate, with a minimum of two years of related experience working in a manufacturing facility.
- The technical skills. You have a working understanding of computer programs such as MS Outlook, Word, Excel, databases and ERP systems, and can use them to store or retrieve data, or troubleshoot errors.
- The collaboration skills. You are a team player who thrives in an environment where you work with others to achieve common goals. You are ready to jump in when needed, assisting your colleagues where necessary.
- The communication skills. You can relay information clearly through your speech or in writing. You are confident when communicating one-on-one or with a group of people.
