What you’ll do:
The Logistics Coordinator will be working closely within the Domestic Logistics Team to ensure on time delivery of materials for current Array projects to customer sites through multiple logistic operations. You will work closely with multiple warehouses, internal and external teams on creating packing lists and bill of ladings for pickups regarding full truck loads, LTL shipments and small packages to successfully deliver to our customers. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple Array projects in regard to all shipping activity, function timely transactions within Array’s EWM system and follow through on specific project questions to and from the customers and internal teams. In this role, you will:
- Create and maintain contact with warehouse, suppliers and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Interact with third party logistics service providers.
- Create packing lists and update shipment information in Array's EWM system.
- Status monitoring of projects and correspondence with management when needed.
- Processes logistics requests and ensures follow-up action completed.
- Respond to requests that are received via email, telephone regarding damaged, misdirected, or lost freight by determining the responsible party (trucking company or customer) and finding the best means to resolve the situation.
- Determine the best means, in terms of timeliness and cost, to ship product.
- Generate documents that are needed to file freight claims.
- Communicate on a daily basis with trucking companies to verify shipment status and resolve problems.
- Outbound delivery generation and bill of lading administration.
- Review and determine carrier changes when the ship to address has changed.
- Assist with Return Material Authorization (RMA) when needed.
- Other duties as assigned
The qualifications you must have:
- High School Diploma required
- 2 years of experience in Logistics from creating packing lists to booking semi-trucks.
- 2 years familiarity of EWM SAP software or similar
- 3 years of proficient with Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, Office, etc.
Our preferred qualifications:
- Must be very organized and have ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office required. Proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple organizations
- Ability to work in a fast paced, busy environment.
