Job Summary:

Arrow Ford is looking for a skilled and experienced Tow Truck Driver to join our team at our Abilene, Texas location. The primary responsibility of this role is to safely and efficiently tow vehicles to designated locations as directed by our service department. The ideal candidate must have excellent driving skills and a strong understanding of vehicle mechanics. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities:

- Safely and efficiently operate a tow truck to transport vehicles to designated locations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tow truck and report any mechanical issues or damage to the appropriate parties
- Secure vehicles on the tow truck using appropriate straps, chains, and equipment
- Communicate with service department to obtain necessary information regarding vehicle pick-up and delivery
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients at all times
- Maintain accurate records of all tows and deliveries
- Adhere to all company and industry safety regulations and protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class C driver's license with a clean driving record
- CDL license with experience operating a tow truck preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a tow truck driver in the auto industry
- Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Excellent driving skills with the ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles
- Proficient in using various types of towing equipment and tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
