Introduction
Arrow Marketing was founded in 1995 and has grown to become one of the nation's largest retail sales and marketing companies. We’re looking for an experienced manager with deregulated energy experience to lead our team of sales professionals working at in-store kiosks across 10+ grocery locations. We operate in dozens of states, sell across multiple different industries, and work with the greatest brands in their space.
Position Summary
Arrow has long-established relationships with some of the nation’s largest and most trusted national retailers. Our Retail Energy Sales Manager will work closely with our Talent Acquisition team to identify, train and manage new members of our retail team. Our Managers work in the field and with their teams at all times to drive consistency in approach, quality of sales, and overall production.
Job Duties / Responsibilities
- Drive team engagement by building a fun, welcoming culture that people are excited to come and work in everyday
- Attract and retain elite sales talent by working closely with our Talent Acquisition team
- Lead by example by engaging prospective customers in retail locations by initiating conversations
- Meet or exceed team sales goals set each month
- Provide one-on-one coaching and training in the field to help the team meet or exceed sales goals
- Lead team meetings and trainings by supporting leadership initiatives and demonstrating optimal execution of talk tracks, dress code, booth set up, etc.
- Source potential retail partners, create contracts, and establish new retail locations
Qualification Requirements
- Ability to work weekends, evenings and some holiday shifts
- Strong people and leadership skills
- Experience in home energy sales
- Tested, proven managerial experience
- High emotional intelligence
- Self-starter who approaches work with integrity and passion every day
- Ability to commute reliably to retail locations
Expected Deliverables
- Having each Retail Sales Agent average at least 1 sale per hour
- Team of 10 reps selling at least 300 sales each week
- Growing team from 3-5 reps to 10+ within 60 days in partnership with Talent Acquisition
Compensation
- OTE: $125,000+
Physical Demands
This position involves constant standing and moving in a retail environment. It requires standing in one location for the entire shift, except during meal and rest periods. Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, reaching, stooping, and kneeling are also required.
