Pay Rate: $100/hr

Job Duties:

  • Proven working experience in project management with knowledge of various methodologies (e.g., agile/scrum)
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to agree on project approach with stakeholders and prepare realistic plans
  • Ability to make important decisions under pressure
  • Ability to manage resources and delegate effectively
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Solid organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Willingness to call a red project red and ask for help when needed
  • Drive Office Relocations to completion
  • Ensure the relocation of the office is delivered to the agreed time, cost, and quality criteria
  • Ensure the project is correctly structured with an overall plan, realistic timelines, and
  • To work with the workstream leads to ensure they are structured and supported in line with the required timescales
  • Throughout the project lifecycle, the colleague in this role will be required to develop and maintain documentation to effectively manage and report on projects, including the below:
  • Project plan, Agile Sprint log, or another project-relevant planning tool
  • Project Status Report (PSR) for reporting progress to stakeholders
  • RAID with detailed mitigation plans/updates
  • Budget logs detailing Capex and Opex spend to date and anticipated spend vs. budget RACI Log
  • The colleague in this role will be required to lead and participate in various meetings - the objective being to both drives the project(s) to successful completion and report on progress throughout. The meetings may include the following:
  • Monthly Program board - Support an Enterprise Program
  • Mgr. or the Project Executive Sponsor in reporting on progress.
  • Monthly Functional Steering Committees - Attend and Report to your Project Executive Sponsor progress and risks so they are prepared for the Program Board.
  • Go / NoGo - Lead meeting to obtain approval to move to the next stage of the project (such as pilot to launch) by demonstrating delivery against clear acceptance criteria.
  • Deep Dives / Stakeholder Reviews - When requested/required you will lead deep dives into the project progress and status.
  • Weekly / Daily Team Meeting - Lead Project team meetings/standups to manage the day-to-day delivery and tracking of projects.
  • Investment Committee - Attend investment committees to support your business lead when obtaining project funding/funding addendums.
  • All other meetings to facilitate the successful delivery of the project(s).
  • This individual will also be expected to uphold IT Governance processes, based on the ITIL framework
  • Abide by Change Control and Test & Release processes
  • Ensure that projects follow formal stage-gate progression and approvals
  • Formally close and, where appropriate, subsequently review projects, documenting lessons learned.
  • Ambition to achieve goals/objectives and the discipline, organization, and perseverance to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Set and meet stretch goals.
  • Set high standards and objectives linked to strategy in order to exceed performance deliverables.
  • Lead a team to address unfamiliar and/or new problems.
  • Specify and manage key milestones to achieve long-term objectives.
  • Persevere to deliver expected outputs is multi-faceted and challenging assignments, managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Think ahead (12-24 months) to initiate changes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of processes.
  • Ability to gather and make sense of large amounts of information and apply it to make business and customer focussed decisions.
  • Gather and make sense of disparate business inputs from a variety of internal & external sources.
  • Analyze relevant industry information to spot trends and predict opportunities and threats.
  • Build relationships and collaborate with others (e.g. customers, colleagues, partners & suppliers) to achieve our mission.
  • Build relationships to promote collaborative work internally and with customers, suppliers, and external parties.
  • Create consensus amongst key stakeholders with different views to establish a shared approach within RI.
  • Make decisions and plan actions in the wider context of the RI Group.
  • Develop confidence, presence, and influence across the team and wider business.
  • Protect and promote the team and its reputation within the larger organization.
  • Take active steps to obtain the necessary personnel, resources, training, and information for the group.

Requirements:

  • BA or higher degree
  • 5 years or more of IT experience
  • 5 years or more of Project Management

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Salary: From $100.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • IT: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Project management: 1 year (Preferred)
