Job Summary
Under the direction of the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor, this position is responsible for building pallets, skids, crates and packaging as well as securing all outgoing shipments. This position is also expected to review outbound shipments to ensure they adhere to Automation Solutions quality expectations and customer focused processes. Team member will be required to use power tools as part of their daily job duties. These include table saw, skill saw, air powered nail gun and cordless drill/driver. Team member will be forklift certified and assist in loading and unloading trucks as well as material handling.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Review outboard shipments to ensure they adhere to Automation Solutions quality expectations and customer focused processes.
2. Team member will be required to use power tools as part of their daily job duties. Ex. Table saw, skill saw, air powered nail gun and cordless drill/driver.
3. Team member will be forklift certified and assist in loading and unloading trucks as well as material handling.
4. Make inquiries on system on work orders and purchase orders.
5. Packaging and crating of daily part order shipments. This will include any transactions associated with the shipments.
6. Label of chemicals in compliance with MSDS procedures.
7. Other duties and responsibilities as required.

Education and Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). or one to three months related experience and/or training. or equivalent combination of education and experience. Required

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills

1st Shift: 4:30am – 2:00pm, M-F
2nd Shift: 2:00pm – 2:00am, M-Th
