What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Receptionist position at Arroyo Veterinary Hospital?
Veterinary receptionist needed. Applicant MUST be outgoing and friendly. Must also be very detail-oriented, have exceptional organizational skills, outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and computer proficiency.
You must be able to multitask under pressure- we get very, very busy and there are numerous times throughout the day when there are people waiting to be helped in the lobby and phone lines on hold. Position includes maintaining patient records, checking clients in and out, answering phones, scanning/faxing, educating clients on veterinary medications and procedures, cleaning, and helping out wherever needed.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Must have at least one year of experience in the veterinary field.
Personality: You should only apply if you are friendly, outgoing, and understand the importance of clearly communicating with clients and colleagues. We work closely as a team and try to foster a positive work culture; if you can maintain a positive attitude while working hard and multi-tasking , this may be a good fit for you.
