Manages staff for efficiency and effectiveness, monitors benchmarks and reviews performance statistics. The Manager works with individual departments and practice staff to support the goals and protocols of revenue cycle workflow and revenue affecting tasks. Key Position Details: Job Description:Principle Responsibilities Department operations. Develops and implements strategies to improve the processes for registration, coding, billing, cash applications, collections, and customer contact. Develops the operating budget. Analyzes system reports to achieve service level agreements, department goals, and objectives. Establishes expectations for quality of work, professional conduct, and customer service. Identifies, implements, and measures improvement initiatives. Stays abreast of industry trends and standards. Leadership of employees. Sets performance objectives and measure for direct reports. Provides feedback to employees through formal and informal coaching. Prepares and administers employee performance reviews. Recruits, interviews, and hires new employees. Creates and implements employee development plans. Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field required and 2 to 5 years experience with computerized hospital, clinical and financial systems required and 5 to 7 years supervisory or management experience required Physical Demands Sedentary: Lifting weight Up to 10 lbs. occasionally, negligible weight frequently
