Job Title : Warehouse Support
Location : 3141 W HEARTLAND DR (3141 W HEARTLAND DR 29382901), LIBERTY, MO
Duration : 6- 12 months
LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY, will report to warehouse every day.
HOURS : Monday Friday 07 : 00-15 : 30 will be typical, but currently working M-Th 06 : 00-16 : 30 and 7-15 : 30 on Friday, overtime will be offered but not required

JOB DESCRIPTION :
Warehouse contractor will be required to support NDR staff with day to day operations of the Liberty, MO Network Disaster Recovery warehouse.
General maintenance routines on NDR equipment; Monthly generator runs, Trailer air routines, vehicle cleaning, warehouse cleaning and maintenance (empty trash bins, condensation containers, use floor scrubber, organization inside / out), shipping and receiving.
Contractor will report directly to NDR managers and plays a vital role in supporting the Network Disaster Recovery team.
Forklift operation is required.
Perform monthly generator routines :
Run each generator for at least 1 hour every month as per procedure
Power up / down (open / close breakers) network equipment to add load
Fill out run log located in each asset
Complete run log fields in OREMIS system
Complete fields in WMS and close tickets
Ensure environmental monitoring system is deactivated / activated as required during
routine and clear / reset all alarms at routine completion
Check inspection tags on all fire extinguishers (Fes)
Remove any FEs that have expired tags and replace with FEs with valid tag
Annually retrieve all FEs and present them to FE inspection vendor for recertification
After all FEs have been certified, place all FEs back in original locations
Complete fields in WMS and close tickets
Complete weekly air system routines
Check air brake system on all trailers with air systems
Charge each air system with air. Check for leaks and verify brakes release
Verify tire pressures are correct and adjust pressure as needed
Help shuttle vehicles to repair vendor
Release air from system and verify brakes engage
Perform Annual Battery routines
Use Midtronics test set to test trailer battery strings
Document results
Update and close WMS tickets
Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs (includes but not limited to)
Generators not starting
Air leaks
Broken doors
Flat tires
Vehicle issues such as dead batteries, failed lights / lamps
Perform shipping / receiving duties
Load unload pallets using powered and unpowered forklifts
Secure large items to pallets
Box / unbox items for shipment / delivery
