Position Summary
The software QA Analyst ensures high-quality software delivery by planning and implementing quality assurance testing. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about ensuring solutions meet expectations, someone who values thoroughness and has a desire to ensure quality leaves the door with every project, big or small. This position will work in a collaborative team environment to understand business needs and technical design to develop test plans and test cases. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to assess any requirement, from user requirements to data requirements.
Position Responsibilities
Plan and implement testing (e.g., regression, functional, data validation, or system integration) for new functionality built in SAP S/4 Hana and interfacing systems (including SAP bolt-ons such as Vistex, OpenText, SAP Analytics Cloud)
Plan, create, and execute manual test cases for a process stream, working with business
partners, developers, and other stakeholders
Document and analyze test results and recommend corrective action
Manage and maintain defects, bug lists; verify fixes
Work closely with development teams and QA team to execute testing strategies
Support user acceptance testing conducted by business partners or end users
Demonstrate effective organization skills to manage multiple priorities
Leverage data and analytics for actionable quality assurance insights
Knowledge and Experience
3 years of quality assurance experience within the software development domain
3 year developing and implementing test plans and QA activities
3 years experience with SAP ERP Platform (S/4 Hana, ECC), with time spent in one or
more of the following process streams:
ITD (Inventory to Delivery)
OTD (Order to Cash)
PTP (Plan to Produce)
PRC (Pricing)
RTR (Record to Report)
STP (Source to Pay)
Strong verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
Strong attention to detail to identify, isolate, and document defects
Experience with test management tools (e.g., SAP Solution Manager, SAP Cloud ALM, TTTA)
Technical testing skills using SQL to perform database queries
Experience within an agile development environment
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with minimal supervision
