Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to manage our clients' financial records. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial information, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting our clients' financial operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, Accounting CS)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Great organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field is a plus
Position Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records for multiple clients using accounting software
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Assist with payroll processing
- Manage invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed
- Communicate with clients regarding their financial statements and records
