Materials Catalog Specialist

Job Summary

The Materials Catalog Specialist position is a key position in the ASARCO Warehouse Improvement project. This position is responsible for supporting the Catalog team in the Master Data Management for materials in SAP, working closely with the Warehouse Agile Team, the Warehouse and Maintenance teams for all three ASARCO mines in Arizona.

Job Responsibilities

- Analyze and execute material creation & modification requests for ASARCO.

- Analyze and execute user requests to improve materials Master Data records.

- Follows up with local warehouses on Master Data requirements for critical materials to ensure optimal warehouse functionality.

- Work collaboratively with business units, catalog and purchasing resources on integration solutions.

- Demonstrates a commitment to customer service; anticipates, meets and exceeds expectations by solving problems.

Skills & Experiences Required

- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business preferred.

- Minimum of 1 year working experience, preferably in Supply Chain or Inventory Management.

- Working experience with data related to any of the following areas: Supply Chain, Mining, Purchasing, Finance, Planning, logistics.

- Hands-on experience in any enterprise ERP system, preferably SAP.

- Good understanding and experience working in an agile environment.
