JOB Summary
Ascend BackOffice Solutions, Inc. is a Healthcare Management Company that supports businesses in the areas of Medicare, Medicaid, Physician Practices, Hospice, Home Health, Healthcare facilities, and Rehabilitation companies. Ascend BackOffice Solutions, Inc. assists start-up, small to midsize healthcare companies, and individual clients with one or more of the following:
- Strategic Planning and Forecasting
- Systems, Processes, and Business Intelligence
- Design Reports and Dashboards
- Scheduling, Call-Out Support & On-Call Support
- Business Development and Operations Support
- Compliance, Licensure, and Risk Management
- Medical, Home Health, Healthcare, and Administrative Staffing
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of healthcare administration or supervisory experience - Required
- Minimum of 4 years in home health operations and office management - Required
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service or call center a plus but not required
- Current or recent experience managing a minimum of $1 MM in healthcare annual revenue
- Prior experience with budgetary responsibilities including budget development and monitoring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Hospitality Management or related fields a plus
- Florida RN Licenses a plus but not required
- Multi-lingual in Spanish and/or Haitian Kreyol a plus but not required
- Broad knowledge of home health federal and state regulations/administration
The Operation Manager MUST BE HIGHLY TECHNICAL and proficient in an array of systems to include Google Suite, sales and customer CRM, HR, Communication, and Financial platforms. We are willing to train on other systems if the candidate demonstrates experience and mastery in Google Suite and Microsoft applications.
The position requires the Operations Manager to oversee: general office management, recruiting, marketing, payroll, and ensuring regulatory compliance in all areas.
In addition, someone that is comfortable with Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Social Media, and attending Networking and Sales events.

- Has had a direct hand in increasing profitability of a business unit, office, branch, or overall business and is able to comfortably walk through a simple balance sheet and Income Statement (Profit & Loss Statement)
