Job Description
Day-to-Day:
- Ascendion is looking for a SQL Programmer to support a large healthcare organization.
- This person will primarily be responsible for supporting the enterprise data warehouse group.
- They will be responsible for the upstream for the Medicare, Compliance and Reporting Analytics team, meaning they produce the data, profile the data, analyze the data and map the data from files to different sources.
- If the data doesn't align, this resource is responsible for knowing how to fix it.
- They must understand which source claims data comes from and so on.
- This resource must be highly technical, but come from a Business Analyst background to help translate requirements.
Must Haves:
- 5 years of development experience as a SQL Programmer or SQL Developer
- 5 years of experience with advanced SQL skills and coding
- 2 years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter
- 5 years of experience with data mapping, data profiling, data analysis and data integrity
- Experience with healthcare
Plusses:
- Experience with Python
- Experience with any cloud platform (Snowflake, AWS, Azure)
- Experience with Teradata
