About the Role:
Job Title: Performance Test Engineer
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- Expertise in Performance Testing Tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling
- 6-8 years of proven experience in Performance Testing and Engineering
- Excellent Understanding of application architectures and performance testing techniques
- Ability to work in fast paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication Skills to convey technical information to technical/ non-technical audiences.
- Monitoring Tools: Knowledge of monitoring tools like DataDog, Nagios, New Relic to collect performance metrics.
Responsibilities:
- Design and Develop Test plans, test cases.
- Execute Performance Tests (load, endurance) using tools like Jmeter.
- Monitoring using tools like Datadog, Dynatrace and analyze performance metrics such as Response Times, Throughput and Resource Utilization.
- Report right bottlenecks for performance optimization.
- Collaborate with Dev, cross functional teams, and integrate Performance Testing into the Agile Release Train for Software Delivery Life Cycle.
- Provide clear and concise Reporting for Performance Testing results making recommendation for improvements.
- Stay current with industry trends and technologies in performance testing. Share knowledge within the team.
Location: Greenwood Village, CO
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $90,000 – $100,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
