AscendTek, a telecommunications company, is seeking a hardworking and motivated individual to join our warehouse team in Kent, WA.
Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s license
- Physically fit and able to lift over 50 pounds and work on your feet over 8 hours a day
- Ability to manage your tasks correctly and effectively
- Warehouse, laborer, or construction experience strongly preferred
- Forklift experience required
- Willing/able to drive our company vehicles when needed
- Seeking long term W2 employment
Duties include but not limited to:
- Receiving processing, labeling, and storing incoming stock.
- Organizing the warehouse space.
- Preparing orders for shipment.
- Delivers material and equipment to sites
- Assist the crews in unloading material and equipment
- Uses protective materials and strapping equipment to protect and secure loads; once delivered, removes strapping and wrapping, then safely disposes of waste materials in designated containers or areas.
- Applies understanding of machine loading capacity and loading schedule, ensuring prompt and efficient delivery of required items.
- Manages and piles drums, skids, pallets, and other supplies in specified areas.
- Uses forklift and pallet jack to move and organize materials around the warehouse.
- Other duties as assigned.
