In this customer-facing role, Application Specialists are essential to delivering on our mission of enabling our customers to enhance precision cancer diagnostics.
What you will do:
Perform instrument demonstrations, installations and networking of IHC instruments, digital scanners and tissue micro-arrays, software, and peripherals onsite with the client
Partner with our sales team to effectively perform remote and onsite demonstrations of IHC instruments, scanners and software
Troubleshoot and resolve customers’ network connectivity/ LIS technical issues, and provide help in understanding the appropriate use of IHC strainers, digital pathology scanners and TMA equipment
Handle requests for the replacement of apparently defective products. Complete, maintain and process relevant paperwork and documentation, including records of customer complaints.
Prepare reports to management including compilations of customer complaints, trend analyses, and suggestions for improvement.
Provides on-site consultation to resolve customer’s needs and meet service expectations
Participates in validating new products, customer evaluations of existing products and application support.
Complete IQ/OQ’s
Skills you will need:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 2 years working experience in the information technology field preferably in a clinical or biosciences environment.
4 years of working experience with IHC platforms, digital pathology instruments, microscopy or equivalent
HT/HTL certification and 3-5 years of clinical or research laboratory experience is helpful
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency to include Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Confirmed technical writing skills, ability to work with minimal direction in a laboratory environment and in the field.
Prior customer-facing experience required
Up to 75% Travel is required and may be asked to travel within hours for urgent customer needs.
