Responsible for analysis of data for the development of reports and strategic recommendations.
- Project financial performance on Medicare Advantage and Medicaid risk sharing contracts with health insurers.
- Communicate key risks, projected actuarial results, and recommended action with internal stakeholders.
- Perform data analysis and synthesize results.
- Independently create and maintain actuarial models.
- Establish reporting processes, workflows, monitor emerging experience and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead projects, anticipate obstacles and ensure timely completion.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Associate Certification credentialed from the Society of Actuaries obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required.
Work Experience:
- 3 years of experience preferred.
Additional Preferences
- Medicare Advantage bid pricing experience preferred.
