Director of Physician Practice Operations

Ascension Indiana is seeking an experienced Director of Physician Practice Operations to join our leadership team! The ideal candidate would have five years of Physician Practice Management experience in a Medical Group Structure. Location: Indianapolis, Indiana (Onsite)

Develop and implement policies, procedures and strategies related to the physician practice operations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop goals, plans and standards consistent with clinical, administrative, legal and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
• Plan, organize and direct all activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives.
• Prepare operational and departmental budgets and ensure compliance with allocated funding. Coordinate and direct internal/external audits.
• Direct and evaluate practice activities to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
• Work collaboratively with the Medical Director to provide strategic and operational direction to five primary care clinics that are a part of medical residency programs.
  Create a patient-centered culture and processes to serve and support a diverse population.

Education:

• High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree preferred.

Work Experience:

• 5 years of experience required.
• 10 years of experience preferred.
• 2 years of leadership or management experience required.
• 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of Physician Practice Management experience highly preferred
