Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate educational activities related to clinical areas for an assigned service line or population.
- Collaborate with managers and staff to assess learning needs and competencies.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate educational plans/programs and utilize methods, measurements and tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals.
- Serve as a resource for staff in areas of program development, clinical practice and professional development.
- Participate in the coordination and continuity of orientation programs.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- One or more of the following required:
- Emergency Medical Tech obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed.
- Practical/Vocational Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed.
- Medical Lab Scientist (ASCP) credentialed from the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP-BOC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed.
- Medical Tech credentialed from the American Medical Technologists (AMT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed.
- Paramedic obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed.
- Pharmacist obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed.
- Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed Rehab Therapist specializing in Occupational Therapy (OTR) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed.
- Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed.
- Respiratory Care Practitioner obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed.
- Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed.
Education:
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
