What You Will Do
This role falls within The Resource Group's Operations and Logistics Optimization Solution. Operations and Logistics Optimization comprises six communities working together to align inventory and data management, operational procedures, and key performance indicators, and to deliver a cost-effective, highly-efficient managed distributor model. By combining a culture of hospitality with leading operations and logistics processes and controls, these communities of skilled associates ensure resource and supply management runs silently in the background and operates in service of physicians, clinicians, leadership, and associates.
As a Specialist, you will oversee all supply chain data management functions as well develop and implement data tools to assist The Resource Group’s Participants with data management, forecasting, and analysis. Additionally, you will collaborate at a national level for education and training for all requisitioners and local associates. Collaborations among local risk and legal groups are expected to help mitigate major recall and supply disruption impacting patient care. Your goal will be to provide the highest levels of service and hospitality, reducing disruptions found in typical supply chains, so caregivers can focus on providing care to patients rather than the supplies needed to do so.
Responsibilities
- Monitors adherence to data governance policies, procedures and processes.
- Audits the overall data quality for applicable data elements at their location including querying data and using available tools to build and complete audits.
- When data errors arise, works with other teams, end users and manufacturers to determine corrective action.
- Provides subject matter expertise to determine appropriate data values when conflicts arise.
- Ensures the appropriateness of data requests; researches whether a data element already exists to meet the requirements of the request
- Provide mentorship opportunities when applicable to new team members
- Provides specialized support for those users of supply chain data, tools and other resources provided by Master Data
What You Will Need
Education:
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required.
Work Experience:
- 3 years of experience preferred.
Additional Preferences
-Minimum of 3 years of combined relevant experience preferred (data management, procure to pay systems, and/or operations)
-Enterprise Resource Management/Planning system experience preferred
-Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets proficiency preferred
-Experience extracting data using SQL or experience with Informatica preferred
-Pharmacy operations or pricing knowledge preferred
-Experience working with large data sets
-Strong data analysis skills
